Set your BlackBerry so you can send contacts out as business cards via SMS
M2bCard Review
by on April 22, 2010
This M2bCard application is a little bit confusing when you first install it – there’s nothing there.
That’s because all it does is add the option to send a contact as a vCard (electronic business card) something the BlackBerry range oddly cannot do.
You simply highlight the contact and then click the menu key to send to another person – it couldn’t be much simpler.
Like many vCards, they can appear jumbled when they reach the intended destination, so be warned that sometimes people might ring you up asking why they’ve been sent a bunch of random letters.
Of course, you could just copy and paste the numbers across to a text message – but that takes the fun out the whole experience, right?
A little on the pricey side, and if RIM ever decides to offer vCard functionality as standard this app will be rendered obsolete.
