Tablet Keyboard Review
by on January 25, 2012
Unless you have the hands-pan of Thor it is unlikely that you like typing on a tablet when you are holding it. Lucky, then, there are a number of apps out there which fix this rather annoying problem and Tablet Keyboard is one of the best we have tried.
The concept of Tablet Keyboard is simple. It takes the full QWERTY keyboard we all know and love and essentially splits it in two. This may look a little odd when you have your tablet on a surface but when you are holding the tablet it makes perfect sense.
Tablet Keyboard isn’t perfect – we did have a bit of a struggle to get our Galaxy Tab 10.1 to accept the app as an input device but once we went through the myriad menus to install the thing it was great to use.
It’s a bit of a shame that the makers of Tablet Keyboard have decided to not really use the prime real estate in the middle of the keyboard – which is a rather big gap because of the split – other than add rate and donate buttons, but this is a small niggle against the many pros of the app.

The iOS equivalent of a plain cheese sandwich: does the job, but it won't linger in the memory afterwards.

The interface feels a bit out of place on iOS, but it’s a fun app, and produces interesting results.
Puzzlejuice
Absurdly challenging, sometimes brutal, but frequently brilliant (especially on the iPad); just be aware of what you’re letting yourself in for. (Sob.)
