Read Twitter updates and respond to them straight from your Android phone.

Twidroid is a Twitter application for Android that seems to get the majority of things right. We’re not saying it’s the perfect way to get Twitter on your phone but the pros seem to well outweigh the cons.
Here’s the good news: the app is easy to setup, asking just for your Twitter log-in details and boasts automatic updates so you don’t have to manually refresh to see who’s been tweeting.
The problem with this is that it will sap your battery life, quicker than you can tweet. Luckily you can turn this option off and update when you want to. Choose this option and Twidroid will be a boon.
If you don’t just want to read what others are saying on Twitter, you can update your own profile or reply to others. You can even search and look at all your @ replies.
The only thing you can’t do is Follow someone.
Accessing Twitter on a phone is one of the best ways to use the micro-blogging site and doing it with Twidroid couldn’t be simpler.
