Upload your missive straight to Posterous using your smartphone
by on February 11, 2011
Here at T3 Towers we like simplicity. If an app or a device doesn’t work straight away then there are a thousand over things that can replace it in an instant. That’s why we breathed a sigh of relief when using Posterous for Android.
For those who are unfamiliar with the site, it is a play where you can upload pretty much anything you want – we probably would leave the pic of the horse doing nasty things to a lady on your hard drive – and it will add it to whatever social-networking site you want and will put it onto your very own Posterous page.
Using the site through Android is really simple. All you have to do is log in, then click the green Post button and add whatever you want. You can get to your video and image galleries from here and you can choose the image size for sending.
You can also add YouTube links in and it will embed all of these into your Posterous site without you going near any nasty HTML.
And one of the best things about the app is that you can view all your previous posts in a really easy way.
Posterous may be overshadowed of late by emerging blogs like Tumblr, but there is still life left in the blogging platform, and the Android app is proof of this.
