Facebook for Android Review

Compared to other social-networking apps, Facebook for Android feels a tad archaic. The app is essentially a stream of information from your News Feed. Unlike the website, it isn’t separated into Top News and Live Feed – it just seems to deliver content that has been posted the first.
On the left-hand side there is a nice big thumbnail of whose information you are seeing and when you click into the feed, it quickly takes you to where you want to go.
Unfortunately, when it comes to viewing images (unless they are your own), the app just directs you to the mobile version of Facebook, which is more than annoying.
It won’t even give you access to your inbox. In fact, the only real functionality it has is with the nice big Share button at the top of the screen. Disappointing.
What’s annoying is that this is the closest thing Facebook has got as an official app for Android and it only has half the functionality that made the site the biggest social-networking destination in the world.
