Mobile phones have unfortunately made the humble pocket calculator obsolete. But your phone won’t help you when you need to do difficult things like work out percentages or stop the fights when the price of a meal needs to be split four ways.
That’s where 12 Calculators You Need comes in. Instead of racking your memory for anything you remember from your Maths lessons, this money app does exactly what it says on the tin, with a dozen number crunching options to guide you safely through the mathematical maze.
The calculators the app offers include ones for mortgages, loans, health, currency conversion and even tips. Each one has an easy to use interface and will turn you into a maths whizz, without making you socially inept or the subject of bullying.
Instead of hitting you with complicated equations, each calculator uses a slider to help you with your mathematical problems.
We’re not too sure why there are 12 calculators on show here – Tips and Simple Tips could be combined, as could Auto Loan and Loan calculator – and even though it costs $1 to buy, it will save you in the long run.
