Match up the coloured jewels and collect all the mosaic pieces to be become king of Egypt
Jewellust Review

What is it with jewels and the Android platform? There are more jewel-based games than adorn Elizabeth Taylor at a wedding.
This means for another jewellery based jaunt to make an impact, it has to be something rather special. Luckily, Jewellust is a gem of a game.
The plot is threadbare: you are in Ancient Egypt and you have to blast your way through myriad jewels so that you can clear the pyramid out and go on to the next level/pyramid.
Yes, the plot is a load of tosh, but the gameplay is surprisingly addictive. Match three or more jewels in a row and the line disappears, touch one of the exploding bubbles and whole rows disappear.
But unlike most games of its type, there is an actual aim: to collect all the mosaic pieces at the bottom of the grid. Do this and you will progress on to bigger and better levels.
The touch controls can be a little shabby – this depends on how big your thumb is. But once you get into a rhythm, the game starts to eat away at your precious free time.
And once you become awesome, there’s the dreaded Survival mode. Great stuff.
