Yet another word game from the Zynga bus
Zynga has made a massive success out of digitising board games we all know and love and it has done it again with Scramble With Friends. This time around the word game is Boggle – or a variation of it that’s enough to keep the courts at bay.
Essentially, you have a load of Scrabble-like letters on a grid and your job is to make up as many words as possible in the allotted time. Along the way there’s numerous add-ons you can get which freeze time and so forth which will help with trying to get as many points from the words and letters as you can.
Not as addictive as Words With Friends and a little bit more complicated, Scramble With Friends is a great game if you have lots of people to play with but completely useless on your own.
There’s also the fact that you need to get tokens to play the game regularly and what you have is a few too many hurdles to make this word game a classic.
