Thankfully the Android developer responsible for the like-for-like Talking Tom Cat app has made those dreams a reality with a well-designed, fun-for-kids application. The idea here is to chat to your pet dino and listen as he repeats your utterances in a deep, menacing T-Rex voice. You can record these science-defying speeches within the app and then share them on YouTube and Facebook if that floats your boat. Aside from the repetition, you can also force Rex to fight off another ’saur (which he does admirably), play fetch or even feed him by chucking him a slab of meat. Double tap on the moody bugger will yell as you screen and he’ll roar at you. So nearly two decades after Jurassic Park, talking dinosaurs are finally here. We guess Jeff Goldblum was right, when he said “life will find a way.” Or something like that.
