It's in the name really - a wide variety of ridiculous tones.
Funny Ringtones Review
by on June 6, 2011
This app provides you with a variety of amusing ringtones ranging from the ridiculous – a fart or a dying phone ringing – to the only slightly amusing – a military horn and a baby crying – and gaming sounds such as a Mario-style sound, game start and extra life plus cartoon sounds such as Woody Woodpecker and Tweety Pie (though we think they’re fake equivalents rather than the real thing).
64 sounds are available across four categories, so there’s plenty of choice and you can press each one once to preview it, or hold it down with a long press to bring up a dialog box. This enables you to save it as your ringtone, notification tone (for texts and the like) or there’s also a timer feature that enables you just to play the sound after a certain period.
The main drawback with the app is that, for something that’s relatively one-dimensional it has a reasonable 3.8MB footprint. Our biggest problem with this app is that it crashed out on us a couple of times when trying to set our ringtones. So we won’t wholeheartedly recommend the download – unless, of course, you really do want a silly sound as your ringtone.
