With thousands of backgrounds on offer, you can select a new one each day to completely personalise your Android phone.

Let’s face it, the backgrounds on offer from HTC and Google suck. Yes, you can add your own in the form of a picture of your loved one, your dog or Cheryl Cole showing off her lucky charms but why would you want to do that when the Backgrounds app has thousands of crazy designs on offer?
The app is well laid out, with all your options at the top of the screen. These include: images which are popular, the most recent on offer and a whole load of categories to delve into.
If you don’t fancy any of these, then you can just flick through the pictures using the arrow keys until you find a decent one.
The wallpapers come up in groups of four and there are certainly plenty to choose from. We liked the one of an eye with a skull in it – but we’re crazy like that.
You can also use the pictures as icons for your contacts. And you can set a load as favourites so you don’t have to do crazy searches every time you load the app up.
