If like us you have occasionally looked at an Apple iPhone – yes, we felt a little sullied too when we did – you may have notice that Apple has made the SMS side of the phone look, well, a bit cool.
If you want to follow this lead, then you will find that HandcentSMS offers similar text appeal.
Load the app up and you will see a re-skinned version of your text messages. Click into any conversation and, wait for it, your SMS now carries the same bubble theme as you get on an iPhone. Crazy, we know.
You can change the look of the bubbles in a variety of ways and there are a number of other options for personalisation.
The app did force close on us a few times, but we forgave it every time the pretty bubbles appeared once more.
The only real problem with the app is that if you want to keep the bubble look alive, you have to remember to log into the app every time you message someone – something we kept forgetting to do.
